Alternatively get a little closer to nature and take the 3.7 km loop hike through rainforest, beach, grassland and clifftops to the top of the lighthouse.

Byron Bay The Pass

The Pass
One of Australia’s iconic beach locations. Soak up the sunshine on the long stretch of white sandy beach, relax underneath the pandanus trees, get amongst the world class long, tubing right handers that break off the rock, watch the surfers from the viewing platform or launch your boat from the boat ramp. On a calm day this beach is also the one of the best spots in Byron Bay to swim.

Belongil Beach

Belongil beach
A stunning and secluded stretch of beach, far removed from the busier Byron Bay beaches. It’s a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Explore the under-water scene at the Wreck – a popular snorkelling spot, which also creates a good surf break.
