How long have you been driving the bus?

Two years now
What do you love most about your job?
Sharing a good laugh and a happy energy with the crew on the bus. I especially love the random fits of laughter on the bus on the way home that start an epidemic!
Where is your favourite stop on the tour?
The waterfall stop is amazing with it’s tranquil walk through the rainforest.
What do you like doing when you're not driving the bus?
Getting my hands in the dirt doing some gardening whilst playing with Jerry my beautiful boy! I also love heading out to gigs to see some of the amazing talent in the area, and I love a good cabaret.
Where is the best place to explore in Byron Bay or surrounds?
The walks along the headland and the beaches, especially the tea tree lakes in summer! Or exploring the rainforests and waterfalls up in the hills - my favourite place to be.

How long have you been driving the bus?
Well as I’m site manager I don’t actually drive the bus, but I’ve been on the job for a whole year now!
What do you love most about your job?
That would have to be all the smooches and massages I get along the way (perks of the job) - it’s a cats life!
Where is your favourite stop on the tour?
I’d have to agree with Mum…it’s the waterfall! I love to get down to the water’s edge and wet my toes whilst stroking the ducks. I also like leading the way back to the bus so that no one gets lost!
What do you like doing when you're not driving the bus?
Well in the summer I like wondering down to the creek with Mum, going for a quick dip then sitting on the rocks in the sun to dry off. In the winter I love curling up on Mums lap whilst she’s sitting in the sun drinking coffee and reading her book. Sneaking up and pouncing on Mum whilst she’s in the garden any time of the year is a lot of fun! It always creates a game of catch and chase. Some say I’m a bit of a pussy because I love hanging out with my Mum…Well there right, I am, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I also like it when I get taken along to gigs, hiding in the hand bag or hanging out in the front of a jumper and having a boogie on the dance floor.
Where is the best place to explore in Byron Bay or surrounds?
The rain forest at home is the best! I get to explore as much as I want and the comfort of a feed and my warm bed is never far away.

How long have you been driving the bus?

I’ve been driving the Happy Coach bus for over two years now, with over 200 tours!
What do you love most about your job?
Everyday is a nice experience! I love meeting travelers from all around the world and hearing their stories.
Where is your favourite stop on the tour?
The rainforest walk to Killen Falls lookout is amazing and a great example of sub-tropical coastal rainforest!
What do you like doing when you're not driving the bus?
When I’m not driving the Happy Coach I like writing, painting and walking on the beach!
Where is the best place to explore in Byron Bay or surrounds?
The best place in this area to explore would have to be Mt. Warning! Climb to the summit for breathtaking views. It’s a challenge but it’s definitely worth it!

“Perfect visit to Nimbin with Happy Coach. With our knowledgeable driver Zac, who told us about past, life, volcano activity of the area. He is local and he knows area very well. On the way to Nimbin we had little stop at Killen falls, then Nimbin on its own was refreshing to visit and go back to 70-80s.... Zac also cooked lovely burgers and we enjoyed a great swim in the public free pool nearby. A must visit if in Byron Bay!”
